PD submersible motors are strong, high-performance electric motors engineered for deep well and borehole pumping needs. They are designed to work with Pedrollo pumps, such as 4” and 6” pumps.

Available in both single-phase and three-phase configurations. Single-phase motors are ideal for small domestic and commercial borehole applications. Three-phase motors are suitable for larger commercial, industrial, and agricultural water pumping needs.

Features of PD Submersible Motors

  • Oil-filled type motor with FDA-approved colorless oil for optimal internal cooling and lubrication for bearings.
  • Largely stainless steel AISI 316 constructions with duplex shaft
  • Oil-lubricated thrust and radial bearings
  • Reinforced netted NBR diaphragm for internal motor pressure compensation
  • Standard NEMA flanges for use with both 4” and 6” pumps
  • Sacrificial anode available on request for 4PD for extremely aggressive water and stray currents
