Description

DAYLIFF DS 95 multistage centrifugal impeller pumps are alternative pump models for borehole supply applications.

Dayliff DS 95 Pump Construction

These pumps are made of AISI 304 stainless steel components but also contain water-lubricated rubber bearings. A submersible motor is beneath the pump, and suction is effected through a strainer between the pump and motor.

Motor

The pump is connected to a sealed, liquid-cooled, 2-pole asynchronous squirrel cage motor made of stainless steel. This motor requires a remote starter, and in cases where unstable supply voltage may occur, it is advisable to include an additional quick-tripping control relay. It is important to note that due to the low starting torques associated with submersible motors, the use of Direct-On-Line (DOL) starters is recommended. For thorough pump control, including protection against low-level motor overload and irregular power supply, a DAYLIFF SCT electronic pump controller is recommended.
