Description

Dayliff DS 46 is a high-quality multistage centrifugal impeller designed specifically for borehole water supply applications. Designed for thin, clean, chemically non-corrosive water without solids or fibers, the DS 46 is ideal for domestic and light commercial applications. Its multistage design ensures steady delivery and energy-efficient operation.

Dayliff DS 46 Pump Construction

All the parts are made from AISI 304 stainless steel except for the water-lubricated rubber rings.
A submersible motor is fitted beneath the pump, and suction occurs through a strainer between the pump and motor.

Motor

The pump is coupled to a sealed liquid-cooled 2-pole asynchronous motor made of stainless steel. The motor requires a remote starter and a quick-tripping control relay for protection against voltage fluctuations.
DOL starters are recommended because of the low torques of submersible pump motors. A Dayliff SCT pump controller is ideal for comprehensive pump control, such as low-level motor overload and irregular power supply.
