Dayliff DSS 5 submersible pumps are designed with multistage centrifugal impellers to deliver a reliable water supply from boreholes. All the parts are made of stainless steel with lubricated rubber bearings.
A submersible motor is fitted to the pump, and suction is effected through a strainer between the pump and motor.
MOTOR
The pump is connected to a sealed 2-pole liquid-cooled motor made of stainless steel. Single-phase require Dayliff SCM control boxes for operation and protection against overload, dry running, and power surges.
Three-phase motors need a remote DOL starter; a Dayliff SCT electronic pump controller is ideal for pump control, including low level, overload, and inconsistent power supply.
