The Dayliff DCX range of portable self-priming high-pressure pumps is designed for irrigation, high-head water transfer, and firefighting applications.
Features of Dayliff DCX Pumps
- Portable—Their portable design makes installation and use easier.
- High pressure—the high horsepower enhances high pressure for pressure-needing applications.
Pumps have one or two impellers for medium or high-pressure flow performance.
Petrol or diesel engines are available.
Dayliff DCX Pump Construction
The pump is built with a high-quality aluminum body and impellers. It also comes with quick-couple suction and inlet connectors with a strainer for easy use. Also includes a strong frame that protects the pump
Engine
Engine options are available as follows:
Petrol
4-stroke OHV single-cylinder air-cooled design with transistorized ignition, built-in oil alert, and recoil start.
Diesel
4-stroke OHV single-cylinder diesel injection air-cooled design with recoil starts.
Note that performance curves for all engines relate to the engine governor set at maximum speed to achieve maximum power output.
For long engine lifespan, pumps should only be operated under maximum power conditions for short periods. To ensure extended duty, the throttle setting needs to be reduced to approximately three-quarters power.
